Biography

Born proudly on this country’s bicentennial, July 4th, 1976, in the Syracuse area, I am a lifetime resident of Onondaga County. My parents emigrated from Italy and raised me with a great love for the United States. As a first-generation Italian American, I was the first in my family to complete college and graduate school earning a Juris Doctorate degree at New England School of Law.

I graduated from East Syracuse-Minoa High School before attending a four-year college and then law school. Upon successfully completing law school, I returned to my native Syracuse to settle with my family. I am a very proud father of two wonderful boys, Michael (14), and Matthew (13).

I started my legal career in the Onondaga County Attorney’s Office, but then took a leap of faith and opened my own law practice the same month my eldest son was born. As my family grew, so did my practice. My practice is widespread with a focus on family and matrimonial law. During my legal career, I have proudly represented indigent assigned clients, children, and private retained clients.

In addition to my private law practice, I am the Civil Attorney at Student Legal Services, Inc. at Syracuse University. There, I passionately provide services to Syracuse University and SUNY ESF students in civil, matrimonial, and family law matters.

During my 22+ years as an attorney, I have handled a multitude of cases in Family Court. I have served in every legal role in Family Court. I have represented all parties including children, parents, grandparents, and caregivers.

In addition to years of legal practice, I am the current Village of East Syracuse Judge, where I have presided over civil and criminal cases for almost nine years. I am also a Youth Part Accessible Magistrate where I have emergency Family Court jurisdiction to arraign Family Court warrants, issue orders of protection and arraign Juveniles on Juvenile Delinquency matters.

It has been my privilege to practice law in my hometown for the past 22 years. Now I ask for your support to serve our community as a Just, Objective and Empathetic Family Court Judge.
